No! In my 20+ years of building and maintaining websites, I have found the contact form ATTRACTS spam. I know this is contrary to what the “experts” tell you, but look at those who are telling you otherwise. Most are resellers of some forms package! I’m not selling any forms package. I’m selling ease of use to my customer’s viewers. Most contact forms do not provide a receipt of the contents of the contact form after it has been sent so the website viewer has no record of what was sent. I myself find this very frustrating.
The solution is to open the email client and format the email to be sent and let the viewer send it directly from their own email client tool. Now they have a record of exactly what was sent and YOU know that the email they provided is correct!

Bottom line is my preference is to use the mailto: behind a button instead of a forms package. If you as a client insist on the contact form, it will be very expensive to build and provide all the security needed to prevent the spam that is attracted. Better and more cost effective to just say NO!

Because people don’t want to read any more. So keeping content short, allows a simple message to be delivered in a post. Another post can then add to the first message. A sequence can even be developed and maintained using categories and sequence numbers. But that’s too much information for this post!
Posts also are regarded higher in the SEO ranking scheme. A page is considered static and unchanging to the search engines. Continuously editing a page is not considered new content to the search engine.
Creating new posts however IS considered new content to the search engine.
So instead of creating pages, even for something like events, it is better to create posts of each event and then use the virtual page features in WordPress to display all the events or all the posts with a particular category on the virtual page.
